These terms apply to all users, patients, and visitors of our website and services regardless of location.

Not a Substitute for Emergency Services

The content on this website and the services offered by Treat Mental Health are not intended to replace emergency medical care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, a mental health crisis, or thoughts of harming yourself or others, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately. You may also contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.

Scope of Services

Treat Mental Health offers outpatient mental health treatment, including but not limited to individual therapy, psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and telehealth services. Our services are provided by licensed mental health professionals in the states where they are authorized to practice.

The information provided on our website is for general informational purposes only. It is not intended as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical or mental health condition.

Telehealth Consent and Services

Treat Mental Health offers telehealth services as part of its treatment programs. By scheduling and participating in a telehealth appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Telehealth involves the use of electronic communications to deliver health care services at a distance. While telehealth offers convenience, it has limitations compared to in-person visits, including the potential for technology disruptions and the inability to perform physical examinations.

You are responsible for ensuring a private, secure environment during telehealth sessions. Treat Mental Health is not responsible for any breaches of confidentiality caused by third parties in your environment or by unsecured personal devices or networks.

Telehealth services are subject to the laws and regulations of the state in which you are physically located at the time of your appointment. Availability of telehealth services may vary by state.

Patient Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to provide accurate and complete personal and health information during intake and throughout treatment. You agree to inform your provider of any changes to your medical history, medications, or treatment received elsewhere. You understand that active participation in your treatment plan is essential to achieving positive outcomes. You accept responsibility for keeping scheduled appointments and providing adequate notice for cancellations in accordance with our cancellation policy.

Appointment Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Treat Mental Health requires that patients provide at least 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide adequate notice or failing to attend a scheduled appointment may result in a cancellation or no-show fee. Repeated no-shows may result in discharge from services.

Specific fee amounts and additional cancellation terms will be provided to you during the intake process and may vary by location and provider.

Insurance, Payment, and Billing

Treat Mental Health accepts various insurance plans. Coverage and out-of-pocket costs vary by plan and location. It is your responsibility to verify your insurance benefits and understand your financial obligations before beginning treatment.

By receiving services, you agree to be responsible for any copays, coinsurance, deductibles, or balances not covered by your insurance. If you are a self-pay patient, payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Treat Mental Health reserves the right to use third-party billing services and collection agencies for unpaid balances.

Treat Mental Health is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your health information in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and applicable state privacy laws.
